PROGRAM DETAILS

Training 4 Hospitality has an exclusive offer for Culinary applicants who are enrolled in a Hospitality or Culinary degree, or have recently graduated!

  • The program length is 12 months
  • This offer has a start date of September 1 2017
  • Positions are hourly paid ($ 9,30 per hour), guaranteed 32 hours of training per week
  • Pay-as-you-Earn program is available

  • Application includes J-1 visa documentation, insurance, a Culinary Arts placement with this amazing hotel, assistance with finding housing in the local area and our guidance during the entire application process

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process can take up to 3 months. Please don't wait too long to apply. Applications for this offer close on July 1. Please find an overview of the application process here.

  1. Submit the application form at the bottom of this page
  2. Have a Skype video interview with us. Based on this interview we decide if we can put your application forward to the hotel.

  3. Send us your application documents. Details will be given in the interview if you pass.

  4. Have a Skype video interview with the hotel.

  5. If you are hired for a Culinary training position we start the visa application. You send us additional documents for this and pay the up-front program fees (see details below).

  6. You are sent your visa documentation (DS2019 form and DS7002 form) and visit the embassy to apply for your J-1 visa.

  7. After your visa approval you can depart to the United States to start your 12 month program.

PROGRAM FEE INCLUSIONS

As a company dedicated to Cultural Exchange and offering people opportunities we try to keep our fees as low as possible. We also want to be transparent about our pricing and about inclusions and exclusions of our fees. If anything is unclear to you, please contact us.

Our Program Fees include:

  • Education on the J-1 Internship Program

  • Internship Interview preparation

  • An hourly paid internship position

  • Sponsorship of the J1 Intern or the J1 Trainee visa

  • Assistance with finding safe and secure housing

  • Health insurance during your stay in the United States

  • 24/7 emergency support while in the United States

  • Assistance with your tax return after your program ends

PROGRAM FEE PAYMENTS

We offer a Pay-as-you-Earn option to be able to offer this opportunity to more people. You will pay an initial fee, and will pay the remaining fees while you are earning in the United States. For this specific offer no payments are required before you are hired for this position.

TO PAY AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN HIRED:

  • PROGRAM APPLICATION FEE: $ 780

  • EMBASSY FEE: $ 160

  • YOUR FLIGHT TO THE USA

TO PAY WHILE IN THE USA (DEDUCTED FROM PAY):

  • EVERY TWO WEEKS: $ 180 until the total program fees are paid back (13 paychecks)

HOURLY PAY & BUDGETING

It is important you are aware of what you will earn while you are in the United States so you can prepare for your budget while you are in the USA. You will get paid for every hour you undergo training at the hotel. The hotel offers a guaranteed minimum number of 32 hours of training per week and a normal week in the USA consists of 40 hours per week.

AFTER YOUR PROGRAM ENDS, WE HELP YOU APPLY FOR A TAX RETURN. THE AVERAGE TAX RETURN IS $ 800!
