Visa Requirements

Please find below the visa requirements for the 407 Training visa and a list of nationalities who are eligible for a Working Holiday visa:

Working Holiday visa subclass 417:

  • Passport holders from Belgium, Estonia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Korea or the U.K.

 

The maximum length of a Working Holiday Visa is 12 months. Therefore, our 2 year program length is not available with this visa. Candidates applying for a 2 year program are sponsored under the 407 Training visa.

407 Training visa:

  • Open to all nationalities

  • ​Are enrolled in, or hold a diploma or degree in the field of your desired area of training (for example: a degree in Restaurant Management and you're applying for a Food & Beverage internship)

  • Are able to prove at least 12 months of full-time work or study experience in the past 24 months

  • If already graduated, candidates must be employed full-time at the time of application

  • Have a good command of the English language (equivalent to IELTS 5.5)

  • Provide evidence of financial capability. Candidates must have access to at least AUD$4,500

Our Application Process

Below, you'll find an overview of our application process. We provide guidance along each step to ensure you're successful. The total process takes around 4 months.

  1. Submit your online application through our online application form

  2. Have a free screening interview with us and a pre-assessment with our partners in Australia

  3. If accepted, settle your program registration fee 

  4. Receive your letter of acceptance into the program and settle 50% of your program fees

  5. Have an interview with an employer and receive an offer letter confirming your placement

  6. Send your documents for review while we work on your training agreement

  7. Sign your training agreement and settle the remaining 50% of your program fees, insurance premiums and administration fees* 

  8. If you need visa sponsorship, your submission will be lodged on your behalf with the Australian government

  9. Coordinate your arrival with our assistance and secure housing

  10. Fly to Australia

The program costs below outline all the costs associated with the internship program in Australia. All prices are in US dollars:

6 Month Program

  • Program registration fee: $1,000

  • Program fees: $3,820

  • Insurance: $465

  • Administration fee: $1,160*

1 Year Program

  • Program registration fee: $1,000

  • Program fees: $4,320

  • Insurance: $855

  • Administration fee: $1,160*

2 Year Program

  • Program registration fee: $1,000

  • Program fees: $6,700

  • Insurance: $1,635

  • Administration fee: $1,160*

* Administration fees only apply to candidates who are in need of visa sponsorship under the 407 Training Visa. Check if you can apply for        a Working Holiday subclass 417 visa. Please note the 2 year program is not available under Working Holiday visa conditions.
